First City Monument Bank Limited has restated its commitment to electronic banking services, saying it will continue to offer innovative products for its customers.
The lender stated this during the five-day 2015 Social Media Week conference held in Lagos.
The conference brought together thought leaders, innovators and business practitioners who offered ideas on the benefits of social media to business growth.
The lender in a statement said it exhibited its newly-enhanced mobile banking channel, the FCMBMobile, during the five-day conference.
The statement quoted the Group Head, Cards and Electronic Banking, Mr. John Iwuajoku, as saying that the “added security benefit on its FCMBMobile was to ensure that our customers use the channel with peace of mind.
“We will continue to enhance the security and other capabilities of our e-banking channels, be it in fixed locations or on-the-go. With FCMBMobile, our customers can now conduct their transactions from the comfort of their homes or offices without visiting any of our branches. We will continue to encourage our customers to use these convenient and self-service channels.”
The FCMB’s Head of Communications and CSR, Mrs. Uchenna Mojekwu, said, “Social media is the way to go in the modern world and we are going with the times. We recognise that a comprehensive online presence is becoming increasingly crucial to the success of a business.”
