Out of favour Manchester City striker, Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho has been given the blind side by Coach Pep Guadiala as the team hit America for their pre-season tour.
The Super Eagles striker sought after by Leicester City according to thesun.co.uk was nowhere to be seen as his teammates flew out to the US for their pre-season tour.
Even out-of-favour midfielder Samir Nasri is included in the squad.
But striker Iheanacho – a £25million Leicester target – stayed behind as he tries to sort out his future.
The 20-year-old started just five Premier League games last season after falling behind Gabriel Jesus and Aguero in the City pecking order.
City’s stars, all wearing the club’s tracksuits, made their way through Manchester airport before travelling to Houston, America.
Pep Guardiola has Walker, fresh from his £50m transfer from Spurs, and £35m Brazilian keeper Ederson in his squad as he looks to quickly gel his team together before the new season.
Meanwhile, Guardiola is still hoping to land Arsenal hotshot Alexis Sanchez before the window slams shut.
The Chile ace, 28, is out of contract at the Emirates next summer and is demanding £400,000-A-WEEK to stay in North London.
