Were they sleeping or just hoping that they would easily hoodwink or railroad the National Assembly into passing just any document &#039;to save time?&quot; I believe that nothwithstang their own challenges, the National Assembly still remains the most properly constituted organ of government that can ensure detailed scrutiny of the budget and so should be allowed time to do their job. Meanwhile, we call on the President of the Senate, Dr Saraki, to ease do all he can with his colleagues to avoid giving the ragtag executive any reason to detail this political process.
