Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has denied reports in some sections of the media, that he has signed a grazing reserve agreement in order to get a World Bank loan.
The report, which also added his Plateau State counterpart Simon Lalong in the controversial grazing bill, said he has no knowledge of any such agreement and was not even aware of the existence of such a deal.
Ortom, in a statement signed by his Adviser on Media and ICT, Tahav Agerzua, yesterday; said he believed that Lalong may have been misquoted.
According to Ortom, both of them have since their assumption of office, worked closely as colleagues, but have not signed any such agreement.
