I have never been a fan of IBB, but I admire his intellect, understanding, and mastery of Nigeria issues as a nation and a dysfunctional entity. He is the most articulate Nigeria's elder state man, who would have taken Nigeria out of the doldrum of mediocrity had he not surround himself with opportunists. By the way, look at the roster of people in his government as tell me if these are still not the same people in the corridor of power today. Many of these people were once against IBB; then, they were for him when appointed to government posts. The same group seemlessly and without conscience changes party affliations, not on principle but by following the money. They are political prostitutes; show them your money and they are yours! HappyBirthday! you IBB. What a thoughtful and cool headed man. Eat your heart out OBJ!

Who cares whether you remarry or not, what you should be doing is burying your head in shame and asking for God's forgiveness for being the architect of Nigeria's descent into the abyss with your ignominious rule of the settlement syndrome culminating in the annulment of the June 12, 1993 most free and fair Nigeria election ever which has led to the aftershocks of incompetent heads of state to date.

Thank God for the full interview, because this newspaper misrepresented IBB. Citizen newspaper has a lot of junk, misguided and half-baked jornalists, who are doing more harm than good to the development of this country.
