Very preposterous. How much do these people earn to begin with? Is there a unified payment structure for househelp remuneration? And who are these househelps? maid servants brought from the village to take care of children, houseboys who run errands for madam and oga. Suppose they say they don’t earn anything other than food and shelter? Suppose they say they earn 2000 naira per month? Then you expect them to give the government 200 naira? What a caring government! This government should look elsewhere to collect taxes, please.
