Have people from this area realized that the rest of the nation is rejecting them on all fronts? Do people from this part of the North think that the only way to get along with other parts of the country is to become confrontational and hostile? If they continue along this line then they must be ensured that NOBODY from that part of Nigeria will EVER make it to the presidency again! And, maybe, at that time they will cry their hearts out. They think that mere being a nominee or candidate of the PDP would grant a person from that part of Nigeria access or win in the presidential election. The people of the Southeast are waiting for them to come, cap in hand, begging for votes to become the nation’s president. That is when the people of the southeast will tell them that the presidency is not for sale to the people of North East and North West. Let them plan and get the presidential candidacy at the PDP and APC and they will see what will happen. For sure, that is when the people of the southeast will dust up APGA and field a candidate of Igbo extraction who will have a block vote from the southeast; and, as things now show, will have votes from other parts of the country. Then let’s see how that person from the North East or North West will become president. After ruling this country for nearly 40 years these people from the North East and North West think that the only way to regain presidential reality is to resort to blackmail, hate and intimidation of other parts of the country. Nigeria does not belong to people of the North East or North West who think they can just impose their will on other people. If the North East and North West have any modicum of sense in them they should and MUST NOW realize that the rest of the nation is rejecting them; and they just have to work their way back to the hearts of other Nigerians, otherwise they will become a rejected minority.
