Thereafter Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, called out the New perm secs, read their citations before they were administered the oath of office by the president.

The swearing in was conducted in two batches.

Those appointed and sworn in were Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop, (Akwa-Ibom), Obi Emeka Vitalis, (Anambra), Mahmood Fatima, (Bauchi) and Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi, (Jigawa).

The Presidential Spokesman said the new Federal Permanent Secretaries were appointed after a diligent selection process which includes examinations by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
