This government is turning Nigeria into a police state. Senator Abaribe is not an ordinar Sanator. He is vibrant, courageous and astute intellectual and a proud son of Igbo land. There are perhaps just a handful of his type in the 8th Senate. With him, Senate delibrations come alive. All Nigerians and in particular, Igbos should rally round him in his present unwarranted travails. We all know that his strong opposition to this clueless government is behind all the shenanigan. These merchants of violence should know that this is democracy and a Senator must not be toyed with recklessly no matter the guise. All the southern leaders must know there is fire in the roof. Evil has been let loose…but it shall not prevail. Nigerians wake up!
