Had the critics considered the drinks on the table before HE and what appears to be a cup, cut and glass of the drink in the hands of the HE, they would have seen it as a scenario of homage paying and a prayer session with an elder. To me, it would appear that the elder, HE J.O.Ibori, was with a glass of the drinks saying some words of prayers for more Blessings, possibly to the almighty, and the distinguished senator apart from the Urhobo culture on homage paying, should rather be commended for the show of humility in a prayer session being said by HE to the Almighty. Again if it were in the Northern part of the Nigeria, the Distinguished senator would be sitting on the rugged floor for mere greeting of his Sarki, while prostration remains conventional in the SW Nigeria, It is just a normal and conventional scenario.
