Super Eagles are through to the semi-finals of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup of Nations after beating Ghana 2-0 in their last Group A clash.
Following a goalless first half with few goa-lscoring chances, Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute.
Peter Eneji added a quick second three minutes later and Nigeria held on for the crucial win.
Monday’s victory ensured Eagles’ qualification for the Last Four in second place behind Ghana.
