APC chieftain and business mogul, Chief Ogunjimi Alalade, has congratulated the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Baba Alkali for his tenure extension
The APC Chieftain stated that the IGP of police has performed well in reducing corruption in the force and securing public lives and property.
According to him, Usman Baba deserved the tenure extension “for doing a wonderful job in crime fighting and control and instilling discipline in the system within the short period he had served as Nigeria’s IGP”.
Chief Alalade, who was recently conferred a chieftaincy title “Ada Idaha Ke Efik Eburukutu Kingdom’, meaning Pillar of Strength of Efik Kingdom, by the Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Abasi Out, said Usman Baba has proven himself to be the best man for the job, and as such deserved to continue occupying the office.
Chief Alalade stated that within a short time, Baba had stabilized the Nigeria Police Force and restored discipline, loyalty, hard work, sincerity, transparency and due process in the police operations.
According to him, during the same period, Baba also ensured seamless promotion of officers, training and retraining of officers to improve professionalism in the Force, adding that they were happy working with him and that he deserved the tenure extension by the President.
In his final remark, Chief Alalade saluted President Muhammadu Buhari for his wisdom and also commended the President for extendinIg the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Baba Alkali.
He also saluted the Senate President Ahmed Lawn for his leadership quality.
In the same vein, he saluted all his friends and well-wishers in Portharcourt, Calabar, Abuja, Bayelsa, Benin, Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Nigeria and in the diaspora.
Finally, he saluted the APC chieftain, presidential flag bearer, his brother and friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for building a quality and cosmopolitan Lagos.
