Heritage Bank deploys reward schemes to deliver superior customer service

Heritage Bank Limited says its customer reward schemes are meant to encourage and express gratitude to its teeming customers for their loyalty to the bank.

The lender recalled that two reward schemes, ‘MyHeritageReward’ and ‘HB Concourse, were launched last year in line with its commitment to deliver superior customer service.

In a statement on Sunday, the lender said the schemes had been delivering value to its customers since their launch last year.

It described MyHeritageReward as a loyalty programme in which customers win “mouth-watering prizes as they use the various electronic channels of the banks.”

“HB Concourse is a meeting room fully furnished with relevant office equipment and designed to afford the small business owner or beginner, who are customers of the bank, space to hold brief business meetings and conclude deals with his own clients at absolutely no cost.”

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Ifie Sekibo, said the lender was founded on the commitment to support customers in wealth creation, preservation and transfer across generations.

He said, “These programmes are some of the innovative ways through which we can show appreciation to our customers for being part of our success story.”

According to the statement, MyHeritageReward customers are required to sign up on the platform online, using their mobile phone numbers, which enable the creation of a customer profile with a pass-worded access.

“From this point on, the customer earns points which enable him to graduate from class to class while winning commensurate prizes as he actively uses the bank’s Point of Sale terminal, Internet and mobile banking, the ATMs and cards among other e-banking products,” it added.

Apart from saving cost for the newcomer in business and the SMEs, the HB Concourse, the bank explained, also provided convenience for clients travelling out-of-state for business to naturally conduct their meetings or appointments without worrying about office space among others.

It added, “To use these meeting rooms, such customers of the bank will have to go through a simple booking process online, which is a mere formality to avoid clashes of meeting times with fellow customers who also want to use the same facilities.”
