Katsina state Government reiterated its commitment towards putting more efforts on ease of doing business as well as reviving both industrial and agricultural sectors across the state.
Governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari stated this while delivering speech at the 39th Kaduna international trade fair.
Represented by the Commissioner of commerce, industry and tourism Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, the governor said the state government is recognizes the importance of creation and sustenance of fair and just business and economic environment to attract and retain both new and existing investors (local and foreign) respectively.
He said the ever economic and investment summit hosted by the state last two years has shown improvement in the Agriculture, industry and mine sectors.
According to him, the state has being agrarian in nature and practice is an active participant in Central Bank of Nigeria intervention on cotton and rice anchor borrower programmes with the state being the first in cotton production in the county and second only to Kebbi in rice production.
Alhaji Aminu Masari added that, the state have invited foreign investors in the industrial sector which currently a textile company is in katsina and a site had been provided to them to build factory around Malumfashi area of the state.
