Spokesman for the Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso presidential campaign organization, Buba Galadima has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recorded a low turn out of supporters at the launch of their campaign in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the commencement of campaigns for the 2023 general elections.
However, the PDP flagged off its campaign at the Akwa Ibom capital on October 11, with its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and other party stakeholders in attendance.
Reacting to the event, Galadima, during an exclusive interview with Arise TV, claimed that the PDP rented students to fill up the venue of the event.
He stated further that the venue was still “half empty”, despite the presence of the alleged rented crowd.
“When PDP launched their presidential campaign in Uyo, they had to rent school children and put them all over in the stadium. When you checked, larger part of the stadium was empty” Galadima said.
