Enugu youths under the aegis of Enugu State Youth Agenda have promised to support Governor Sullivan Chime and President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.
The Director General of Enugu State Youth Agenda, Mr Temple Chinedu Chika, who led other members of the group to a press briefing in Enugu yesterday, said that they would no longer take it kindly with any politician in the state who cunningly tries to ride on their back without their permission.
“May we use this opportunity to alert the public against the activities of mischief-makers whose character is to reap where they did not sow.
It has come to our notice that some desperate politicians have planned to score cheap political points by stealing our name for their selfish ends. We warn some men with such ignoble intentions as the consequences will be grave,” the group said.
The group, which is supported by the state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, pointed out that Governor Chime had run a life-changing administration that has touched the lives of the youths in the state.
