The governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that he will never accept the electoral victory of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, stressing that the election was a daylight robbery.
He was reacting to the call by the Minister of State II for Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, that Amaechi and All Progressives Congress in Rivers state should concede defeat and congratulate the winner in the interest of the state.
“Because of the larger interest of Rivers state, I and most Rivers people will not accept that daylight robbery they called elections. The election was a sham, a disgrace, an affront on democracy. Please read the reports of EU and other INEC accredited election observers before you open your mouth to spew rubbish. If your values are so debased and rotten that you saw nothing wrong with the elections in Rivers State, mine is not. Never will.”
The likes of Rotimi Amechi are not suppose to be at the fore-front of Nigerian leadership. Amechi speaks, breaths and acts violence and he is the major reason for the violence in Rivers State because of his continuous incitements and negative statements even before the 2015 general elections. Recall that he openly said that if they (APC) lose the elections, they will form palarell government and many more of such incitive statements. Now that he lost the State to PDP, he said he will not congratulate Wike who won the governorship election. Amechi should know that just like Okorocha of Imo State, he is no longer popular among his people because of the way they ran their States. He should stop all this rantings and welcome/hand over peacefully to the governor elect and watch him perform.

Amaechi is a sore looser,he wanted change in Abuja but doesn’t want change in Rivers.I love mama peace my Dearest Sister,she us the woman of substance,she humbled Amaechi and Dakuku,to hell with these renegades.
