The Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has directed the General Manager, Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO), Okey Mba, to return to their owners all vehicles operating under the fleet which the company has confisticated.
Ugwuanyi gave the order when a delegation of the ENTRACO Drivers’ Association led by Angus Amujiri protested to him at the Government House, accusing the company’s management of imposing illegal fees on them.
The governor commended them for their peaceful conduct in channeling their complaints and assured them of his administration’s commitment to maintain peace and order in the state.
Governor Ugwuanyi gave the parties two weeks to resolve their differences and report to him.
The drivers praised the governor for the good gesture and for listening to their petition.
They prayed to God to continue to give him wisdom and knowledge necessary to govern the state. – Nigerian Tribune.
