Access Bank Plc yesterday announced that its Group Managing Director (GMD), Mr. Herbert Wigwe, has been slated to speak at the 4th annual ‘MIT: Africa Innovate Conference’ in Boston, United States of America.
The conference, holding from April 11 to 12, is being organised by Africa Business Club.
According to the statement by the Bank, the conference is an initiative designed to facilitate the application of world class innovation to Africa’s biggest challenges through idea sharing, relationship development and promotion of African innovation.
Specifically, this year’s edition of the annual conference would focus on issues in the areas of finance, healthcare, technology, energy and venture incubation adjudged critical to the development of Africa and enhancing the quality of lives on the continent.
Wigwe will participate in the plenary session on innovation and financing in Africa, the statement added.
