Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has forwarded the names of two new commissioner designates to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening, clearance and confirmation. The two nominees are Akinwumi Samson Sowore and Prince Joseph Adeboboye Ologbese.
Some Commissioners and other aides of Akeredolu had resigned their appointment in line with the Electoral Acts to contest for the party primary. Two of the former commissioners, Donald Ojogo and Gboyega Adefarati, won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for the House of Representatives.
Akinwumi Samson Sowore hails from Ese-Odo Local Government Area whike Prince Joseph Adeboboye Ologbese hails from Akoko Southwest Local Government Area. The two nominees are expected to replace Ojogo and Adefarati.
