Akwa Ibom state on Wednesday flagged off its state-owned airline called Ibom Air.
The ceremony attracted big wigs in the society including the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The airline, the first by any Nigerian state has three planes and has 300 direct staff strength.
Two of the planes have been delivered and were on show at the ceremony in Uyo.
