The National Organising Secretary, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu has urged the public to disregard reports that the party has adopted Senate President, Ahmed Lawan as consensus candidate.
The National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdulahi Adamu had declared Lawan as the party’s consensus candidate.
However, Argungu stated that Adamu’s choice was “his personal opinion not that of NWC of the party.”
