Chiamaka Mabel Okeke, a student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) was killed on Friday by suspected armed robbers.
According to reports, the incident occured at Alias junction in Enugwu-Ukwu, Nijkoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
It was learnt that the deceased, who was a 300l student of the Department of History and International Studies, died after she was stabbed during a robbery attack where she was working due to the prolonged ASUU strike.
Comrade Chioma Kanu, Vice President of Faculty of Arts Student Association (FASA confirmed the incident.
He said Chiamaka succumbed to the injuries she sustained on Saturday, June 11 and has since been laid to rest in Uruokwe village in Enugwu-Ukwu.
Friends and family of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn and lament the horrible incident.
