In Saki East, Dr Kolawole Falade, the collation officer for the conduct of the election in the area announced PDP the winner of the poll.

According to Falade, PDP polled 5,883 votes to lead APC which scored 5,730 votes.

The results of the Presidential and National Assembly elections are currently being collated at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Owerri.
