Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with governors of the party.
According to reports, the meeting was convened following the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential election
Tinubu defeated 13 other candidates with a total of 1271 votes to emerge the winner of the APC presidential primary.
It was learnt that Atiku’s choice of running mate in the 2023 presidential election will is one of the agendas of the meeting.
Present at the meeting include Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike; Bayelsa Governor, Douyi Diri; Bauchi Governor, Bala Muhammed; Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom; Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Atiku congratulated Tinubu on his victory at the APC Presidential Primary on Wednesday.
