The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) yesterday announced the rescheduling of its 240th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting from September 22 and 23, 2014, to September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014.
A notice from the CBN urged all stakeholders to take note of the change in dates and adjust their calendar.
“We wish to inform all our stakeholders that the 240th MPC earlier scheduled to hold on September 22 and 23, 2014, is now to hold on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014.
“Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria wishes to apologise for the inconveniences that may be caused by the change of date,” the notice signed by the Director, Corporate Communications, CBN stated.
