#EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protesters are set to begin another demonstration in October.
The August protests were marred by reports of violence, destruction of public properties, and loss of lives, with security operatives arresting several suspects in different states.
The October protest was announced by the Director of Mobilisation of the Take It Back Movement, Damilare Adenola, who confirmed the plan on Monday.
Adenola revealed that the demands of those involved remain the same unless other issues arise which necessitate a change.
He also shared that the planned demonstration is tagged ‘Fearless in October Protest’.
“Yes. It is called the ‘Fearless in October Protest’. Our charter of demands stands as same. If at all, we will add more as the country decays more”, Adenola said to the news platform.
Speaking on the restriction by the government requiring protesters to hold demonstrations at designated points, Adenola shared, “We won’t accept the compliance.”
