Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said the University of Transport Technology in Daura, Kastina State, currently under construction, will be ready by September.
While inspecting the project yesterday, Amaechi said it had reached advance stage, as the contractors said the seven buildings remaining would be completed by September.
He said: “I will talk with the Permanent Secretary. I think activities can start in the school by September.”
Earlier, Amaechi had visited the Dala Inland Dry Port in Kano to ascertain the readiness of the project to start commercial activities.
On port, Amaechi said the buildings were ready, remaining finishing touches.
