Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State will be the Chief Host as Ukwa-Ngwa Professionals honour Chidi Onyeukwu Ajaegbu, the immediate past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria on Sunday 22 November 2015 with a grand reception in Aba.
Ajaegbu, the only Abia person to become ICAN President, culminated years of services to ICAN and the corporate world with his sterling performances as ICAN President, incidentally in the jubilee year of ICAN. He became ICAN President at 48, the youngest leader of the organisation in its 51 years.
The occasion, according to Chief Theo Nkire, Co-ordinator of Ukwa-Ngwa Professionals is a celebration of excellence, which Ajaegbu has shown in his practices as an accountant, a stockbroker and in his various businesses and relations with people. One of the highlights of the event is a keynote address by Professor Ikechi Mgbeoji of the Isgoode Law School, Yorkshire University, Canada.
Mr. Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State is the Chairman of the occasion while Chief Sam Nkire, a Board of Trustees Member of the All Peoples Congress, APC, is the Special Guest of Honour.
