A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Chief Emmanuel Kelechi, has applauded President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Chief Kelechi commended President Tinubu for his pan-Nigerian, inclusive approach to leadership.
According to the APC chieftain, by appointing Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a Minister in his cabinet, President Tinubu has positioned himself as a father of all Nigerians and demonstrated his willingness to lead the country in fairness and equity.
In his congratulatory remark, Chief Kelechi extolled Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a distinguished daughter of Ndigbo who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities in public service.
Chief Kelechi observed that Amb. Ojukwu’s extensive background in law, diplomacy and public service positioned her uniquely to excel in the new ministerial role.
He added that being Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Spain, Amb. Ojukwu has the requisite experience and has already showcased her commitment to representing Nigeria on the global stage with dignity and integrity.
Meanwhile, Chief Kelechi has also extended felicitations to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, whom he described as “a brother and friend”
He commended the Police IG for his role in positively transforming the Nigeria Police Force.
Chief Kelechi also commended the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Gov. Hope Uzodimma, for securing and protecting the lives and property of Imolites.
