The Katsina State House of Assembly on Wednesday impeached its Speaker Aliyu Sabiu Muduru.
Twenty-three out of thirty-four members endorsed a vote of no confidence before his impeachment was announced.
Meanwhile, a lawmaker Yahaya Kusada has emerged as the new Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly.
