Jose Mourinho is the latest target for the cash rich Chinese Super League.
The Portuguese is out of work following his sacking as Chelsea manager last year.
And Chinese football chiefs have identified the manager as one of their high profile targets as they seek to increase the league’s global appeal.
Mourinho is wanted on a consultancy basis, which would see the Special One aside the CSL on how to improve the standard of football.
Mourinho is aware of the interest from China.
It remains to be seen, though whether he would be willing to take on such a role, despite the huge money he could earn.
The manager has designs on the Manchester United job should Louis van Gaal depart, and a role in the Far East may impact on his chances of a role at Old Trafford.
He could, however, be tempted by an intermittent no strings attached role that would allow him to take a top European job. – Daily Mail.
