Jose Mourinho is in talks with Paris St-Germain (PSG) according to reports.
Mourinho has been hotly tipped to become Manchester United’s new manager this summer.
But the Daily Mail claim the former Chelsea boss is keen to get his future sorted as soon as possible ane wants a deal agreed by next week.
And the 53-year-old, also known as the ‘Special One’, is reportedly in talks with PSG over a deal to replace Laurent Blanc.
Blanc’s position at the Parc des Princes is in doubt after a disappointing Champions League showing which saw the French champions eliminated at the quarter-final stage.
Mourinho meanwhile has won Europe’s premier competition twice with Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010.
And the Portuguese boss is said to view PSG as a viable option given their vast transfer budget.
The news means Old Trafford chiefs will have to act quickly or risk missing out on their man.
They are currently stalling on sacking Louis van Gaal.
The Dutchman’s future remains up in the air after a poor Premier League campaign, which he could yet save with FA Cup success.
The Red Devils will meet Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday.
