President Goodluck Jonathan and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party is currently in a very crucial meeting holding behind closed doors with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
According a source who confided in TheCitizen, meeting brokered by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami (retd.), is taking place at the Sheraton & Towers, Abuja.
The source said that the meeting is meant to extract commitment from the leading candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-free.
“It is most likely that the two candidates may sign another peace accord at the end of the meeting.They were accompanied to the meeting by the national chairmen of their parties,” the source who pleaded for anonymity stated.
