A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, has yesterday Tuesday struck out a suit challenging the legality and competence of Mallam Falalu Bello-led National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
The Federal High Court ruling has therefore put to rest issues surrounding the legality of the Falalu Bello-led National Executive Committee and reaffirmed Mallam Falalu Bello, OFR as the authentic National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
Delivering judgement on the suit, Justice D. U Okorowo held that the action was lacking in merit and terribly incompetent, noting that the substratum of the matter bordered on the internal affairs of the PRP.
Mallam Falalu Bello, OFR is the legally-recognized National Chairman of the PRP but it could be recalled that some renegade group had instituted a legal action before Justice D. U Okorowo of Court 6 Federal High Court Abuja, in suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/193/2022 asking the court to declare the Mallam Falalu Bello led NEC, illegal and unconstitutional.
It is to be noted that the Ag. National Legal Adviser, of our great party, Barr. A. O. Juliet Esq and her team, last month filed a Motion which arrested the judgement of the court leading to presentation of more facts to the court and yesterday, truth prevailed.
