The Super Eagles were unmoved in the latest FIFA ranking released on Friday.
The latest ranking released by FIFA, saw the Eagles placed 36th in the world and fifth in Africa.
Their status as the fifth country in Africa, ensured that they will be seeded for the draws of the African playoffs of the 2022 World Cup despite their 1-1 draw against Cape Verde.
The top five teams in Africa will be seeded and drawn against any of the other teams outside the top five in the continent.
The five winners of the two-legged game will qualify for the 2022 World Cup taking playing in Qatar.
Senegal who still maintains their No. 1 position in Africa remained unmoved in the November ranking 20th in the world ahead of Morocco in No. 2 and 28th in the world, moving up one place from the 29th position.
Morocco switched places with Tunisia who dropped from No. 2 in Africa and 27th in the world to 29th and No. 3 in the world and Africa respectively ahead of Algeria who remained fourth in Africa but dropped from 30th to 32nd in the world ranking.
Egypt remain the sixth highest-ranked team in the continent while going down one step to 45th in the world, while Cameroon moved up four places to 50th on the world, overtaking Ghana and Ivory Coast to become the seventh-best team in Africa.

Other playoffs qualifiers Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo also experienced leaps in the latest ranking.
Mali moved up four places to 54th position in the world ninth in Africa, while Congo DR moved up three places to 64th in the world and 12th on the continent.
The top three in the world is unchanged with Belgium, Brazil and France placed first, second and third respectively, while England moved up one place to fourth, same as Argentina who rose to fifth.
Italy fell two places to sixth, while Spain and Portugal are unmoved in seventh and eighth respectively.
Denmark and Netherlands also moved up one place each to complete the top 10.
