Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal has been named as the new Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
The governor replaces former NGF chairman , Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state on Thursday, September 22.
Following his appointment as the new NGF, Tambuwal resumed his position at the National Economic Council meeting in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
His appointment brings an end to the four-year reign of Fayemi as the NGF chairman.
