Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage is set to receive an honourary doctorate degree from the University of Kent, United Kingdom.
Tiwa, who was a former student of the University, will be honoured alongside ten others during its congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester Cathedrals on July 15th.
According to them, Tiwa “will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music”.
The singer had studied Business Administration from the University of Kent before studying music at the Berklee College of Music.
