Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has described members of the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State and El-Rufa’i as deceivers, irresponsible, dirty betrayers and corrupted people whose image is irredeemable.
Governor Lamido made the statement at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally held in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
He said his former G7 Governors who defected to APC did so out of their own selfish interest than for the interest of the country.
His words: “In fact, they say General Mohammadu Buhari is the only saint, clean, incorruptible, yet he is the one harbouring the most dirtiest people in the country today.
“Buhari is a white curtain that is hiding the dirty people who are all from the PDP which they said is a dirty party, a party of criminals, a party of thieves, yet it is the same party that made them to be what they are today.
“People like Rabiu Kwankwaso, Makatakarda Wamakko of Sokoto, Nasiru El-Rufai, Aminu Bello Masari are all PDP born politically who have everything in common with those in the party. But because they are frustrated out of the party today they are talking of change, which change. Nonsense.
“Therefore Allah will surely judge us right in this world before we even part to great beyond, how can a child begotten by a leper, breastfeed by her and yet when the child grow is now saying the leper is dirty and smelling?
Lamido urged Nigerians particularly the people of Jigawa State to maintain the good legacy of PDP and cast their votes for the party in the forthcoming polls.
Lamido is shameless. This is the man that initially said the President was incompetent and could not rule Nigeria. He also said he signed an agreement to run for one term and worked with the governors who defected to APC, but as soon as the government exposed his corrupt deals he became a chameleon and started singing Jonathan’s praise. Who then is a traitor?? It will take a big fight for Nigerians to get out of this bondage……
Mr Brandon, is Lamido worse than Kwakwaso and Amaechi? Are they all not playing selfish politics? How can Buhari hope to build a “holy empire” with the same dirty pillars that stained and rot the existing empire? How clean is Bola Tinubu? How clean is Buhari’s running mate? The same pastor who faced rape charges in his church a Pastor posted out of his parish by Adebeye because of curruption now hides under Buhari to preach change! What kind of change can this collition bring? PDP is bad, but APC is not the way out!
However, Buhari is by far better than Jonathan!
More than 26 local gov’t (21 from Borno, 5 from Adamawa are under siege for more than 6 months! And all the inhabitants of these areas were either killed, abducted or displaced refugee in neighboring country (Niger, Cameroon and Chad) and states. What a clueless and inhuman attitude.
Who is responsible for all you’ve mentioned Mr Johnny? Per chance GEJ is incompetent; as professed by you and your likes, meaning he very uninformed and incapable to lead Nigeria and Nigerian the way most Western world leaders run the affairs of their countries; he is not in tune with the Western style of governance – how come the reason for the emergence of Boko Haram in Nigeria as we made to understand is their detest for western education and all that comes and goes with it? I sincerely wish I can get an intelligent and convincing answer to this question. Doing so in the least will very much add credence to your position against GEJ. In my opinion, when we heap mountains of blame on GEJ administration for terrorism in Nigeria and abduction and continued hostage of these young kids from Chibok etc it can be likened to asking a man attacked by armed bandits why was he attacked by armed bandits infirectly legitimizing armed banditry where as the pertinent question we all should be asking and proffering answers and solutions to remains why do armed bandits in our society? Where are they coming from, who is behind them, from where do they source their arms etc? What we have failed to balance in all these is the though Buhari may have the solution to Boko Haram as he is claiming, he will definitely be clueless on how to handle the follow up Niger Delta militancy that will resurface per chance he is elected the president – which you Johnny know as well as your likes is the most unlikely outcome of 2015 general election as much as it is a possibility.
