The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 58-year-old woman identified as Hajaratu Sini for allegedly killing her husband’s mistress after catching them in the act.
The suspect was paraded alongside 38 others at the Adamawa Police Command on Tuesday.
According to reports, the deceased identified as Kwada Drambi, who was also a widow, had been having secrets affair with Hajaratu’s husband for a while.
However, the secret was exposed after hajaratu stormed the widow’s house and caught them in a compromising situation.
The husband upon seeing that he has been caught ran away for cover, but his wife followed, and they got into a messy fight.
However, Kwada Drambi, in the defense of her lover, attacked hajaratu which led to a power tussle between both women.
The angered wife grabbed a stick and hit the deceased on the head, and she collapsed immediately.
She was however rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
During the parade, the Commissioner of Police, S.K. Akande, said she will be charged to court soon.
