Another Nigerian filmmaker, Otu Njama has died, barely 24 hours after the death of popular playwright and filmmaker, Biyi Bandele.
Njama was in his early thirties.
He suffered high blood pressure and was found dead in his apartment at First Unity Estate in Badore, Ajah in Lagos state.
His death was confirmed by his sister, Judith, on Wednesday.
She explained that her brother visited a doctor, who advised him to rest after his blood pressure read 200.
However, Njama said he had a show on Thursday, August 11, 2022, despite doctor warnings.
Meanwhile, Judith said her brother never told her about his health issues.
His death provoked an outpouring of grief Wednesday.
