A former Special Adviser to the President on the Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Professor Charles Quaker Dokubo is dead
The former amnesty boss died at the age of 70 on Wednesday, August 24th.
According to reports, the deceased died in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja after a brief illness.
Dokubo served as the chairman of the presidential amnesty programme in 2018 under President Muhammadu Buhari before he was suspended in 2020.
