The former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has resigned as the Chairman, Board of Trustees and leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) due to family and personal reasons.
In a resignation letter addressed to the National Secretary of the party and submitted in the party’s Abuja office on Friday, Obi said he was resigning as the leader and BoT chairman into which he was appointed in January 2014 by the National Executive Council of the Party due to family and personal reasons for the resignation without giving details.
He wished the party well in her future endeavors, adding that he remained an ordinary APGA member.
