Death has been announced of Mrs. Monica Ezeaku of Amufi, Achara Ohodo in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State. She was aged 83.
Before her death which occurred after a brief illness, late Mrs. Ezeaku was a community leader and devout Catholic who would be remembered for several roles she played in the development and empowerment of women in the community.
According to a release by Mr. Matthew Ezeaku, burial arrangements starts with a Service of Songs in the family compound in Amufi on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.
This will be followed by a Christian wake-keep on Friday, August 21, 2015 and funeral Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ohodo on Saturday, 22 August. Interment follows immediately.
Late Mrs. Ezeaku is survived by her husband, sons and daughters, including Engr. Fred Ezeaku, Managing Director of Systems Electrical & Telephone Ltd.
