The report, “Okonjo-Iweala And Washington-Based Think-Tank Caught-Up in Questionable $1.95m “Contract” Awarded By Nigeria” published by Saharareporters is another despicable story by the famously corrupt online medium to tarnish the reputation of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Even though the details clearly show that Dr Okonjo-Iweala knew nothing about and had nothing to do with a contract awarded by the Central Bank of Nigeria, an autonomous institution, to an independent organization, Saharareporters went ahead with its lurid false headline and invented connection just to throw mud at Okonjo-Iweala.
The story underscores the extent to which Saharareporters is ready to go on behalf of corrupt vested interests in its mission to sully the name of Dr Okonjo-Iweala
But like its previous efforts, this latest attempt will also fail because Okonjo-Iweala’s integrity is rock-solid and Saharareporters’ lies cannot dent it. Nigerians – and the rest of the world – are smart enough to see through the fabrications of this corrupt medium.

This is an allegation which Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she is clean . She needs to explain details about this Contract because CBN works closely with Ministry of Finance and there is no smoke without fire .
