The Acting Managing Director of the Bank of Industry Mr. Waheed Olagunju has lauded the management of TUNS Group of companies in Osogbo, Osun State for ensuring agricultural value chain in its activities and providing jobs for large number of youths in Osun State.
Speaking during his visit to TUNS farms along Ikirun road in Osogbo, Olagunju said he was very delighted that all the raw material used in the company were sourced locally and this has great significant of the economy of the nation. Olagunju explained that agriculture remains a very important panacea to mitigate the scourge of unemployment, saying that agriculture must be properly harnessed and utilised.
The Managing Director of TUNS Group, Engineer Olalekan Badmus and other top management officials of the company conducted the BoI boss around the facilities in the farm.
While receiving the BoI MD in his office, the Chairman TUNS Group, Asiwaju Olatunde Badmus reiterated the commitment of the company to quality products that can meet international standard. Badmus who is also the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland said the visit of the BoI team was very significant at this moment that the nation’s economy that is threatened by recession needs urgent solution.
