Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Adamu Ciroma is dead.
Family sources said the elder statesman died in an Abuja hospital on Thursday after a protracted illness.
The deceased was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also the finance minister during the first term of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
