The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has approached the Presidential Election Court (PEC) to seek permission for the inspection of election materials used during last Saturday’s poll.
Obi refused to concede defeat in the February 25 presidential election, vowing to recover his mandate in court.
Obi, on Friday, requested PEC in Abuja to allow him and the Labour Party to inspect materials used for the February 25 election.
The request is contained in an ex-parte motion he filed at the PEC secretariat at the Court of Appeal, Abuja.
The motion, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)and two others as respondents, has been listed for hearing on Friday (today).
Details later.
