The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has revoked the operating licence of Skye Bank Plc with immediate effect.
CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, disclosed this at a news conference in Lagos on Friday.
Emefiele stated that Skye Bank would be taken over by Polaris Bank, which would also take over all the assets and liabilities of the defunct entity.
