No fewer than 2,500 customers of the Diamond Bank Plc across the country have received over N4billion through the Diamond Extra promotion.

The Head, Mass Market Segment of Diamond Bank, Osita Ede stated this in Enugu during the south east Regional draw DiamondXtra season 8 organised for customers of the Bank in the south east zone.

“We have given away N4billion naira to over 4500 persons since we started and today 41 persons are going to win N25million from the south east”, he added.

According to him, DimondExtra is a product of the bank aimed at helping the banks customers through lottery draw.

He further explained that a customer qualifies to be part of the draw once he or she opens DiamondExtra account with N5000.
Ede said it is a way of saying thank you to their customers whom he said are the engine of their business, adding that without the customers they would not have been in business.

DiamondExtra he added, is divided into six zones to cover the entire regions in the country and the southeast zonal draw is just for customers of our branches within the south east.

“We also have other draws that we do but this one is specifically for the customers within the south east. We are talking of Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia,Ebonyi customers. We have been doing this campaign for the past three months we started April so today we select our winners, they are 41 winners. 30 customers won N500,000 each 10 customers won N1million each while the star price was the SUV jeep won by one person”.

The head of mass market segment said that the campaign continues because they still have winners every month where the winner goes home with the bank’s Unique price of “Salary for life” which is N1000,000 every month for 20 years.

“This happen every month and it is for all our customers in the DiamondExtra in the country. We are also having one customer winning N2 million this happens every month.

In an endorsement speech, Nigerian Lottery Commission and KPMG representative, Michael and Kenneth said that DaimondExtra met all the requirements need for the draw and commended the bank for meeting up with the previous draws.

Explaining further the Enugu Area manager Daniel Nduka said it is an electronic draw where the system selects at random who the winner is.
At the end of the draw a customer in one of the Branches in Onitsha who was not present at the venue won the star price SUV Jeep. When contacted on phone the way he sounded was as if the people are fraudulent.
